KARACHI: The management of Avari Hotels has issued a statement to disassociate itself from the leaked video of former Sindh Governor and PML-N central leader Muhammad Zubair Umar.
According to a statement issued by the management, Avari Hotel has assured that no hidden cameras have been installed in the hotel rooms.
He said that if someone has installed cameras for malicious purposes then the hotel management has nothing to do with it. According to the management, Avari Hotel takes full care of the privacy of the guests.
It should be noted that on Sunday night, mobile footage, which allegedly shows the PML-N leader in a bedroom with a blurred-out woman spread like wildfire on social media with #ZubairUmar becoming the top trend, while a local news agency claimed with reference that the room shown in the video is from a hotel in Karachi.
