KARACHI: An employee of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Center, located in Site Area of Karachi, has been arrested on charges of harassment.
According to details, the data entry employee used to take out numbers of the women and send obscene videos in order to harass them. A police spokesperson has informed that the employee was arrested on a complaint of a citizen.
The police spokesperson further said that the arrested accused, identified as Meraj, was harassing several women by contacting them on their mobile phones. A case has been registered against the accused under the Telegraph Act.
The spokesperson also said informed that the victim’s family has provided immoral content sent on WhatsApp. The arrested accused works on daily wage in NADRA site office.
