LAHORE: Pakistani actress Armeena Khan tweeted in response to a huge amount of critics who raided her social media profiles after she uploaded a picture on her Instagram.
The celebrity was criticised for uploading a bold picture, as various users deemed her outfit to be ‘obscene’ and ‘revealing’. Armeena responded to several trolls personally and her fans still can’t get enough of it.
One of the social media users wrote, “Send them to Bollywood.” To which, the actress said, “I have been already, it was good.”
Earlier, Pakistani actress Ayesha Omar gave a befitting reply to a troll who criticised her for her choice of outfit. A social media user commented, “If she is promoting women to expose of their body (via such clothes), then that surely is not ‘women empowerment’.”
Responding to the comment, Ayesha wrote, “I’m definitely not promoting/ asking/urging women to expose their bodies. That is their own choice as wearing this dress was mine. As wearing whatever you want is yours.”
