ISLAMABAD: Two unidentified robbers looted a sum of Rs. 4 lakh in cash and other valuables from a general store in Sector G-6 of the federal capital.
According to details, two young men, riding on a motorbike, visited his store today (Sunday). The robbers barged into the store, armed with pistols, and looted around Rs4 lakh and a mobile phone.
The robbery took place at around 2pm in the afternoon in the busy area of Sector G-6’s Cooperative Market, within the jurisdiction of Aabpara police station.
The Police arrived on the scene within five minutes of receiving the call and started taking statements. “A case has been registered against unidentified robbers but so far they have not been identified,” said a police spokesperson.
The district police have informed that they had collected fingerprints from the spot and were investigating the case but have so far found no clues to the suspects.
