KARACHI: A 13-year-old boy died while making a video for the popular video app TikTok.
Three people were injured and a teenager named Salman was killed after they were run over by a hi-roof while making a TikTok video at Lyari expressway. All three were recording video for popular short-video app TikTok, said police.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested a car driver and registered case. This is not the first time that a life has been lost while filming a TikTok video.
Earlier this month, a boy in Bahawalpur lost his life while filming a video. An 18-year-old boy in Narowal lost his life while making a video for the app.
On 21st June, a teenage boy had shot himself dead while making a video for TikTok in Karachi. In April, a 22-year-old man died after being hit by a train while shooting a video at the Jumma Goth railway station in Bhens Colony.
In another incident, earlier in July, a teenage boy accidentally injured himself in the Firdous Market area of the Lahore while shooting a TikTok video.
A teenager named Hamza fell from his rooftop while filming a Tik Tok video. He suffered severe wounds and was shifted to a hospital in a critical condition, said the police.
