WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has infected 34,481,803 people worldwide and killed 1,027,654.
Coronavirus-infected 256,67,128 people recovered and the number of active cases is 7,784,720 round the world.
The first death from the coronavirus was reported on 11th January 2020 in China. On 9th April, the total death toll from coronavirus rose to 100,000. The first 100,000 deaths from the coronavirus were reported in the first 89 days.
The United States ranks first among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 212,660 people dying and more than 7,494,000 being diagnosed with the coronavirus.
India ranks second in the world in terms of the coronavirus cases where the total number of cases has increased from 6.391 million. The total number of deaths from corona in India has reached 99,804.

Brazil is the third most affected country in the world, with 4,849,000 people infected and 1,44,767 dead.
More than 1,185,000 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Russia, bringing the total death toll to 20,891.
Colombia is the fifth most affected country by the coronavirus, with 26,196 deaths and more than 835,000 reported cases.
In Peru, more than 800,000 to 18,000 people have been affected, while 32,535 people have lost their lives. More than 778,000 people have been affected and 31,791 have died in Spain.
