RAWALPINDI: Two younger brothers stabbed his brother and nephews with knives over a property dispute and escaped the scene here today (Tuesday) in Rawalpindi.
According to details, the incident took place within the jurisdiction of Rawalpindi’s Waris Khan police station. The district police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The injured people were shifted to the nearby hospital for medical treatment.
A police spokesperson has informed that the attackers have been identified as Zeeshan Qureshi and Imran Qureshi. The spokesperson has informed that raids are being carried out to arrest the accused.
The Station House Officer (SHO) has assured the affected family of all possible cooperation. The SHO further said that the reason for the rising property dispute is not the timely distribution of property.
Earlier in June, at least nine members of a family were killed over a property dispute in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A land dispute broke out in the upper Dir area which claimed nine lives. The dead and injured ones were immediately shifted to the hospital.
