ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has failed to take action against the land mafia of Islamabad despite repeated complaints from the citizens.
According to details, the land mafia of Islamabad had allegedly occupied the link road between Kari Road to Express Highway, and the concerned authority has failed to take action in this regard.
The residents of the area have informed that they have filed several complaints to the development authority to look into this matter. However, no action has been taken yet.
Citizens repeatedly tried to contact the concerned officers but could not get any response. While recording their protest, the citizens the occupation mafia had illegally occupied the government land and made the life of the residents miserable.
The residents have appealed to DC Islamabad and Chairman CDA to immediately relinquish the land from the land mafia and take action against the corrupt CDA officials.
It is worth mentioning here that the corrupt officials of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) along with the land mafia illegally demolished a newspaper stall, at Islamabad’s Kari Road, by declaring it illegal.
