In life, we often find some people who do not succeed despite constant efforts. Sometimes the reason behind this is considered to be the goddess of fortune, otherwise, how can people who work less than them be more successful than them?
Blaming fate or destiny can only be a consolation, but it can never be the root cause of failure. Rather, the real reason for the failure of any human being is something else. Renowned motivational speaker and trainer Syed Qasim Ali Shah calls it a ‘Persian Fault’. It is a deficiency or error of a person which overrides his other virtues.
We often see in our surroundings that one of their faults obscures their other virtues. For example, I had a friend who was very fond of food and did not avoid his favorite foods despite doctor’s warnings and his habit of overeating led them to death.
Similarly, a friend who used to get furious over trivial things and his marital life failed just because he could not control his anger. Another friend of mine failed to run his software house because of his oversleeping habit. We often see people getting angry easily or flirting with women, all of these examples are called pressure faults.
When a person develops a particular habit as his weakness, it affects his life. It has profound effects on business, domestic and social life. We need to find and correct our Persian faults. It is not easy to change any habit promptly. However, when we find our flaws and try our best to overcome them, we will definitely succeed in our life.
