WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has affected 30,697,734 people worldwide, while the death toll has risen to 956,446.
Around the world, 22,339,889 people infected with coronavirus have recovered and the number of active cases has come down to 7,401,399. The United States ranks first among countries infected with the coronavirus, with another 800 deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll in the United States to 233,171 and more than 6,925,000 I was diagnosed with the virus.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases. Another 1,221 people have died from the coronavirus in India, bringing the total number of deaths in India to 85,625, while the number of infected people has risen to 5.35 million.

Colombia ranks sixth among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 23,850 deaths and more than 750,000 reported cases. The death toll from corona in South Africa has risen to 15,857, with more than 657,000 people affected. More than 688,000 people have been affected and 72,803 have died in Mexico.
The first case of coronavirus was reported on 17th November 2019, and on 6th March, the number of cases worldwide exceeded one million.
