KARACHI: The Anti Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) today (Thursday) has arrested four criminals involved in various criminals in Karachi and recovered arms and ammunition and stolen motorcycles from their possessions.
According to details, the arrested criminals are habitual motorcycle lifters and sell stolen motorcycles in Hub (Balochistan) in exchange for drugs and to commit other crimes.
A police spokesperson has informed that the arrested accused have shot and injured many civilians during the robbery. He further informed that the arrested accused are involved in holding illegal arms and police shootouts.
Five cases have been registered against the arrested accused in three different police stations, including Gulshan-e-Maymar police station, Site Super Highway police station, and Mubina Town police station.
Earlier in September, Police busted a three-member interprovincial gang involved in various criminal activities in Karachi and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.
Police conducted a raid in Gadap City of district Malir and arrested the gang members. They were involved in criminal activities in Rahimyar Khan, Punjab, and in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Sachal Goth, and Super Highway areas of Karachi.
