RAWALPINDI: The victim who was filmed and stripped publicly in Rawalpindi has withdrawn the case against the arrested accused.
According to details, the victim Arbab Ghulam Sakina has submitted an affidavit to the court in this regard. The affidavit stated that she has been involved in Case No. 709 under Sections 354, 509, and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code without any reason.
The victim further said that she does not have any dispute with the Arsalan Qureshi – the arrested suspect in this case. “Unidentified people made my video viral which has nothing to do with Muhammad Arsalan,” she added. The affidavit informed that she has no objection if Muhammad Arsalan Qureshi is granted bail or acquitted in the case.
It is worth mention here that a group of men allegedly filmed the 17-year-old girl publicly after stripping off her clothes and posting the video online. The girl was allegedly ganged rape by the group before being stripped on a Rawalpindi road.
A first information report (FIR) was registered against the accused near Saidpuri Gate in the Rawat police station’s jurisdiction. However, they had been released on pre-arrest bail.
