KARACHI: The district police today (Friday) claimed to have resolved the case regarding the murder of a newly-wed man in Korangi as his friends turned out to be his ‘killers’.
According to details, newly-wed man Muneeb and his friends worked in the same factory in Korangi. A few days earlier, the accused asked Muneeb to reach a place in Korangi.
The police spokesperson informed that when Muneeb arrived at the spot there his colleagues snatched his mobile and killed him. “The accused staged a drama of dacoity to mislead the police,” he added.
However, the motive behind the killing of the newly-wed man was ‘personnel enmity’, police added. The spokesperson informed that Muneeb had been killed due to a girl who also worked in the same factory.
The accused managed to escape from the scene and broke his mobile. The spokesperson also informed that they have identified the suspects and conducting raids to arrest them.
