RAWALPINDI: The district police today (Tuesday) have arrested a man for killing his sister over a money dispute in Rawalpindi’s Shabqadar area.
According to details, the man had developed differences with his sister over financial matters. Police revealed that the accused had taken a loan of Rs 50,000 from his sister.
The Shabqadar police station has arrested the accused, named Zabiullah, on the complaint of the victim’s second brother Hizbullah. He informed that Zabiullah started beating his sister with bricks after arguing with her, leaving the woman dead on the spot.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. Police after lodging FIR started raids to arrest the accused who escaped the area and later arrested the accused.
Earlier in August, Lahore investigation police arrested a man who had allegedly killed his sister and brother-in-law over claiming a share in inheritance property.
After instructions of DIG Investigation Lahore Shahzada Sultan, a special team was formed to arrest the killers. Police informed that Ansar Javed along his friend had killed Beenish Hayat and her husband, Awais.
