WASHINGTON: The United States has seized four Iranian oil tankers bound for Venezuela carrying oil from Iran.
The ships contained 1.1 million barrels of oil. The US seized the ships in violation of US sanctions on Iran. On the other hand, Iran has denied the news, Iran’s ambassador to Venezuela said in a statement that the news is part of the ongoing US propaganda against Iran.
On the other hand, some time ago, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that the process of mediation between Iran and Saudi Arabia has not stopped.
In an interview with foreign media, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the process of mediation between Iran and Saudi Arabia has definitely slowed down but never stopped.

“We are all working for peace and Pakistan has tried to stop the confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia,” he said. The prime minister said that we tried our best to prevent a military confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia in which we succeeded.
PM Imran Khan’s mediation efforts came at a time when the interests of the oil industry in the Persian Gulf region were under attack, which the United States blamed on Iran. The attacks also resulted in intense tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
