RAWALPINDI: Citizens have staged a protest against a brothel and liquor store in Rawalpindi and demanded to take action against notorious Fayyaz alias Bailey Arain.
According to the protesters, Fayyaz alias Bailey Arain is allegedly running the brothel and a liquor store in Rawalpindi’s Bhubatpur area. Protestors informed that the district police had earlier raided Fayyaz’s brothel, but the culprits managed to flee.
The protesters further claimed that the police had also arrested Fayyaz and recovered 20 liters of alcohol from his possession. They added that several cases were also registered against Fayyaz but he was released on bail due to his influence.
The citizens also said that several local politicians and senior police officials were patronizing Fayyaz. They appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Inspector-General of Police (IG) Punjab to take action against the notorious criminal.
Earlier in July, Saddar Wah Police, in a crackdown against criminals and outlaws arrested a liquor supplier and seized a huge quantity of liquor.
SHO Saddar Wah along with his team arrested liquor supplier Allah Ditta and recovered 120 liquor bottles and 720 local alcohol bottles of liquor from him.
