KARACHI: The district police have arrested five people, including a member of a Lyari gang war, in three separate operations in the metropolis today (Tuesday).
According to details, the operations were conducted by Lyari’s Kalakot Police Station on the directives of senior officers. In the first operation, the district police arrest the extortionist of the Lyari gang war named Shujauddin.
The police recovered one 9mm pistol from the suspect’s possession. The police have informed that the arrested accused is also involved in various heinous crimes including attacks on Police.
In the second operation, the Kalakot police nabbed three street criminals. The police informed that the arrested suspects were involved in stealing mobile phones, and motorcycles. The police have also recovered motorcycles from their possessions.
In the third operation, the police arrested a drug dealer and recovered a huge amount of cash and drugs from his possession. The Kalakot Police have registered separate cases against the arrested accused and have started an investigation.
