DERA GHAZI KHAN: A 70-year-old man has been arrested for attempting to sexually assault a minor girl at a market in Dera Ghazi Khan.
This incident occurred when a shopkeeper invited the minor girl inside his shop and attempted to molest her. However, the minor girl started screaming after which nearby shopkeeper rescued her.
The shopkeepers informed the police and the culprit has been arrested. Upon receiving the information, SHO City police station reached the scene of the incident.
He said the suspect Saleem had set a shop in Shehzad Sultan Town where he attempted to molest the minor girl but neighbouring shopkeepers foiled the attempt after promptly informing the police.
Police have arrested the suspect and further investigation is underway. A case has been registered over the attempted rape of a minor. Police said the suspect will be soon presented in court for legal procedures.
