This celestial phenomenon will enable people all over the Earth who can see the sun at that moment to determine the direction of the Qibla through the simplest and easiest ways.
According to astronomers, such a phenomenon happens twice a year over Kaaba on May 27 and July 15.
It occurs because of the location of the Grand Mosque in Makkah between the equator and the Tropic of Cancer, the astronomers said.
