SIALKOT: Police personnel of Sialkot’s Head Marala Police Station have assaulted a family including women and children without any particular reason.
According to details, the police officials including Saleem Butt and Mohammad Farooq broke into the house illegally and started assaulting the family members. The victims also include a 90-year-old disabled woman.
In this regard, the victims claimed that the police officials broke into the house illegally and starting abusing and beating up the family members.
The victims further claimed that the officials were threatening them of serious consequences. The 90-year-old disabled woman, Khadija, has accused her nephew in this regard.
The family members have appealed to DPO Sialkot and IG Punjab Police to take stern action against the police officials and provide protection.
Earlier in January, four officers of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police tortured and beat up a man in Peshawar for abusing them in a video posted on social media.
The man had posted the abusive video a few days ago, following which the police officers arrested him and brutally beat him up after removing his clothes.
