RAWALPINDI: A man, along with his wife, has allegedly assaulted his pregnant sister over a property dispute in Rawalpindi.
According to details, the incident took place near Mohammadi Colony within the jurisdiction of Sadiqabad Police Station. A resident of the colony has filed a case against the accused.
The plaintiff, Asma Sattar, informed that the man, along with his wife, brutally assaulted his pregnant sister. As a result of assaulting, the woman suffered a miscarriage. The victim was identified as Sayla.
The plaintiff further informed that the victim was a married woman and the mother of a girl. “The house in which Sayla lives is owned by her late father Abdul Sattar,” Asma Sattar informed.
She maintained that the victim’s late father had equally distributed property worth millions of rupees among his son and daughter. The plaintiff informed that the victim’s brother wants to evict her and take possession of the property.
In this regard, the victim said that she feared for her life as her brother wanted to murder her. She demanded the police and higher authorities to provide protection and justice.
