RAWALPINDI: The district police have arrested a fugitive killer Arbi Sultan and his son Mansoor Sultan for their involvement in a murder case that took place in the Sangni-Rajam area.
According to details, Arbi Sultan along with his accomplices has shot dead a man Shaukat Ali over a land dispute.
SP Saddar Division Zia Uddin briefed CPO Muhammad Ahsan Younas that a special police team headed by SDPO Gujar Khan managed to trace out the killer by using the latest technology and mobile data.
Police spokesperson informed that cases have been registered against the accused while further investigation was on, he said. He further said that police would also arrest the other fleeing accused.
Earlier on Wednesday, Police have arrested three proclaimed offenders, 10 robbers and drug peddlers from various parts of the district, informed a spokesman.
The POs were held by police stations Chontra, Morgah, and Cantt, he said. He also said that the POs were identified as Safeer alias Seeru, Muhammad alias Kashmiri, GhulamMehboob, and ZameerQureshi. CPO Muhammad AhsanYounas appreciated the performance of the police.
