India’s war hysteria

Rizwan Ahmed Fikhri by Rizwan Ahmed Fikhri

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is an ideological state which we received after tremendous sacrifices and continue to lay down our lives against arch-enemy India. During partition of the subcontinent, Calcutta was not handed over to East Pakistan in the Radcliffe Act under a conspiracy which resulted in the Mukhti Bahanis separating it and creating the state of Bangladesh. Such mindsets still exist in Pakistan conspiring against the country.
These extremist and anti-state elements are a threat against the integrity and solidarity of Pakistan, spreading chaos and anarchy through their subversive activities on India’s behest. There have recently been several attacks against Rangers personnel in various cities of Sindh. These handful of miscreants are attempting to create discord and disrupt peace in Karachi and other cities. We need to need to take action so that the Kulbhushan Yadavs and agents of Modi do not harm the solidarity of the country.
The people of Pakistan stand with the armed forces. India has faced a humiliation against China and has seen the death of twenty soldiers including a colonel. In February last year, Pakistan also taught a befitting to Indian adventurism. Along with the situation in Laddakh, India has also worsened relations with Nepal, Bangladesh and other neighbouring countries and has become a living hell for Muslims.
Despite the racist Hindutva agenda, India became a member of UN Security Council which is among the various conspiracies and discrimination against Muslims. India has resorted to numerous unprovoked ceasefire violations across the LoC which are not being seen by international courts or the UNSC. India is cornered from all four sides and is taking missteps on Kashmir and other issues.
India has claimed to conduct bogus surgical strikes and operations to create a furor and then attempts to create instability in Pakistan. Not to forget that Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir continue unabated. Indian defence minister has been instigating by aggressive statements against Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan but he has underestimated the resolve of the armed forces and people of Pakistan.
Ever since Modi was re-elected, the situation has been worsening for Indian Muslims such as the abrogation of Article 370 regarding Kashmir and the discriminatory citizenship bill. We have witnessed numerous incidents about the torture and killings of Muslims by extremist Hindus.
Pakistan attempt to spread peace with projects such as Kartarpur Corridor but India turned down these overtures, reflecting the regressive mindset of the Modi government. Modi has propagated a hate-filled culture. India can no longer be considered a secular state and is being run by a Hindu Taliban. The world has remained silent over the atrocities by Indian forces which reflect its prejudices against Muslims.
The prime minister of New Zealand shows solidarity with Muslims after the terror attacks and set an example that should be adopted by other world leaders. On the other hand, India continues its war hysteria but realizes it may receive a proportionate response over any misadventurism.
