RAWALPINDI: The local police have arrested a man today (Friday) for allegedly trying to rape his own daughter in the Rawalpindi airport area.
According to details, the appalling actions of the detained man were revealed to the Airport Police Station in Rawalpindi who took prompt action on the report and nabbed the individual.
The victim repeatedly explained to her father that this was wrong. She tried to stop her father and raised a hue and cry. She later informed her mother about the situation.
When the girl’s mother asked her husband in this regard, he flatly denied it. However, some evidence was found after which the victim’s mother immediately registered a case at the Airport Police Station.
After checking all the evidence, the police have registered a case against the father of the victim and arrested the accused. The accused is being interrogated.
Police have said that in the light of the evidence, a solid report will be presented against the accused so that the accused can be convicted.
Earlier in May, a man forcefully entered the house in the wee hours of the day and sexually assaulted a woman in the New Town area of Rawalpindi.
The victim, Nuzhat Fatima, said the suspect named Malik Waqar entered her house in the morning on May 28 when she was alone and assaulted here. The woman is a resident of Saidpur Road in Rawalpindi where the incident occurred.
