NEW YORK: More than 6.3 million people have been infected by the new coronavirus worldwide.
At least 364,000 people have died of the coronavirus around the world. According to details, at least 366,141 people have been killed and more than 6,031,341 people are infected around the world due to pandemic.
According to the latest data, 2,659,351 patients have recovered from the pandemic so far.
The United States has been the hardest-hit country, with 1,745,803 cases and 102,107 deaths. The United States recorded 1,212 coronavirus deaths, bringing its total to 101,573 since the global pandemic began.
Brazil now has the second-highest number of recorded infections in the world after the United States with 405,079 cases and 27,276 fatalities with 1,180 deaths in a 24 hour period.
Spain has recorded 27,119 fatalities and 284,986 infections. The United Kingdom has reported 37,837 fatalities with 377 deaths in the last 24 hours and 269,127 infections.
Italy has 33,142 fatalities, with 70 people succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours. The country has reported 231,732 infections.
Germany has reported 8,570 deaths and 182,452 infections. India has reported 165,799 cases while 4,711 deaths due to the coronavirus.
Turkey reported 160,979 coronavirus cases and 4,461 fatalities. China has to date declared 4,634 deaths and 82,995 cases, with 78,291 recoveries.
In Belgium, 9,388 people succumbed to the disease while reported 57,849 cases due to the coronavirus. Mexico has reported 353 deaths in a single day, taking the tally to 9,044 deaths and 81,400 cases.
Canada reported 6,877 fatalities and 88,512 infections due to coronavirus. Israel has reported 16,872 coronavirus cases while 284 deaths.
