Five shows cancelled by Netflix this year

NEW YORK: Netflix has cancelled its five major series even the shows had the potential to become blockbuster favorites.

Picking a series to watch on Netflix and binge-watching it has become a normal routine as most people are forced to stay in their homes.

Netflix cancelled some of its original series this year that could lead with a good storyline in the future. Here is the list of five original series that Netflix has officially given the red flag in 2020.

1.) Marianne (Premiered in September 2019)

Netflix cancelled Marianne after just one season. Thus, there will be no Season 2 for the horror series that made waves large enough for Stephen King to notice.

2.) Messiah (Premiered in January 2020)

Another one of Netflix’s show was cancelled after just one season. Messiah, which also debuted on New Year’s Day 2020, was nixed officially in March 2020.

3.) V Wars (Premiered in December 2019)

V Wars, a vampire contagion drama is based on fictional vampire-vs-human wars.

4.) The Crown (Premiered in November 2016)

In January 2020, the creator of the series announced that to end ‘The Crown’ with its fifth season, despite originally planning a six-season arc for the series.   

5.) Spinning Out (Premiered in January 2020)

The series, which stars Skins alum Kaya Scodelario, was cancelled in early February 2020, about two months after its New Year’s Day premiere.
