PESHAWAR: Three members of a family, including a man, his two daughters were killed when the roof of their house collapsed in Pato area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to sources, the roof of the house was in a dilapidated condition due to which it caved in. As a result, a man, Nazeer Khan and his two minor daughters were killed on the spot.
On receiving information of the incident, locals reached the spot and launched a rescue operation. They pulled out three bodies from the rubble of the house. The bodies were handed over to the family after legal process.
Earlier, April 1, four members of a family, including a couple and their two children, were killed when the roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rain in Sawabi.
According to police sources, a roof of a house in Yar Hussain area had collapsed due to heavy rain. As a result, four members of a family were killed.
Citing the details of deceased, police said a man, Raheem and his wife, Abida Parveen and their two one and half-year-old twin daughters died in the incident.
