RAWALPINDI: The Indian troops began indiscriminate firing across the Line of Control late on Friday, which seriously injured a woman, said ISPR.
According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations, the Indian troops targeted civilian population with indiscriminate fire of automatic weapons, rockets, heavy mortars, and artillery.
The Indian security forces initiated firing in Hajipir and Sankh sectors across the LoC, in which a woman from Khwaja Bandi village also got severely injured, said the ISPR.
The army’s media cell said that the injured was shifted to a nearby medical facility and undergoing treatment for her wounds.
On April 7, a Pakistan Army soldier and two civilians embraced martyrdom in across the border ceasefire violations in Kailer and Rakhchikri sectors.
According to ISPR, Pakistan Army responded effectively, resulting in heavy losses to Indian troops.”During an exchange of intense fire, a 34-year-old Lance, Naik Ali Baz, a resident of District Karak, embraced Shahadat.”
In Rakchikri Sector, Indian troops intentionally targeted the civilian population in which a girl, aged 16 and a woman, 52 were martyred while a boy, 10 and a woman, 55 sustained severe injuries in Kirni village.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, the Indian forces have violated the ceasefire agreement more than 900 times this year alone.
