SWABI: District police have arrested 23 suspects including one proclaimed offender and during a search and strike operation conducted in the Razar area of Swabi.
According to the provided details, the district police have also recovered narcotics and a weapon from their possession.
In this regard, an official of the District Police informed that the police team alongside the Elite Force, Bomb Disposal Squad conducted the search and strike operation.
The official further informed that the team and the sniffer dog unit conducted the operation in Parmooli, Narangi, Sher Darra, Assota Sharif, Shewa, and surrounding areas.
During the operation, police arrested twenty-three suspects including one proclaimed offender and his facilitator besides recovering 4 kilograms hashish, five bottles of liquor, Ice, and one pistol from their possession.
The official also informed that several cases have been registered against the arrested suspects and the proclaimed offenders, investigations are underway against the arrested people.
Earlier today, Police had arrested twenty-nine proclaimed offenders and court absconders in Sargodha.
The Police spokesman informed that on the direction of DPO Faisal Gulzar; teams of various police stations of the district have started operation against proclaimed offenders and conducted raids at different areas under their jurisdiction.
