ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Asad Umer has said that government had lifted the limitation on construction industry to facilitate the labour community across the country.
Talking to media on Saturday, he said in order to eliminate the hardships faced by daily wage workers linked with construction work, the government had decided to facilitate the industrial sector by lifting restrictions.
Expressing disappointment over lack of working of concerned institution responsible for accumulating the data of labour community, he said unluckily, Pakistani institutions do not have proper data system of labour community working in the construction sector across the country.
Replying to a question about Tiger Force, the minister said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and other parties should express satisfaction over the formation of Tiger Force because the Force will perform their duties without any political influence.
He said that the opposition should come forward to support the lower income group rather than criticizing positive initiatives of the PTI government.
Asad Umer further said PTI government was trying its best to minimize the problems being faced by the people due to the coronavirus epidemic.
He advised that the citizens should not be scared nor spread panic over coronavirus pandemic, adding that the nation would defeat the coronavirus outbreak very soon.
