LONDON: After British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, health minister Matt Hancock has announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus.
British Health Minister took to Twitter and said, “Following medical advice, I was advised to test for coronavirus,” adding, “I have tested positive.”
Matt Hancock further informed, “Thankfully my symptoms are mild and I am working from home and self-isolating,” adding, “Vital we follow the advice to protect our NHS and save lives.”

‘Boris Johnson’
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tested positive for the novel coronavirus today (Thursday).
In a video posted on his Twitter account, Boris Johnson said, “Over the last 24 hours, I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.”
Boris Johnson said, “I am now self-isolating myself, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conferences as we fight this virus.”
The British PM thanked the NHS and everybody working to keep the country going through the pandemic and reiterated that staying at home is fundamental to stopping the spread of the virus.
Globally, coronavirus has claimed lives of almost 25,000 people and has affected more than 550,000 people. The UK has reported over 11,000 cases.
