LAHORE: At least ten people were sustained serious burn injuries after a tanker carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), catches fire near Lahore‘s Shahdara Mor on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, the tanker carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), exploded after catches fire near Lahore‘s Shahdara Mor. As a result, 10 people sustained severe burn injuries.
They said in the power full explosion broke the window glasses of nearby buildings in the area. The fire went intensive further when it engulfed a nearby petrol pump station. While clouds of smokes can be seen growing from the scene in the video.

Police said that the number of numbers of vehicles also damaged in the incident as the fire also surrounded a nearby vehicle parking stand.
Soon after the incident rescues officials and fire brigade teams reached the scene and still trying to cover the situation. Police shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and sought a detailed inquary6 report from concerne3d authorities.
On the other hand, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has also constituted a team to investigate the incident and find the actual causes of the fire.
