ISLAMABAD: The government decreased the prices of petroleum products by Rs15 as part of the economic relief package.
A press statement issued by the Finance Ministry stated the prices of petrol have been lacerated by Rs15.01 per liter, which would now be sold at Rs96.58 per liter compared to Rs111.59.
Similarly, the prices of High-Speed Diesel were condensed by Rs15 per liter, from Rs122.25 per liter to Rs107.25 per liter. The value of Kerosene oil was abridged by Rs15 per liter, from Rs92.45 to Rs77.45.
While, the price of Light Diesel Oil was reduced from Rs77.51 per liter to Rs62.51 per liter, showing decrease Rs15, it added. The new prices were applied from today, the statement read.
On Tuesday, PM Imran Khan had announced a multi-billion package involving relief for the working class and business community besides lowering fuel prices in the country amid a shutdown in various parts of the country due to coronavirus.
