SUKKUR: Four members of a family were killed and four others sustained severe injuries in a road accident on the Indus Highway near Kashmore.
SSP Kashmore Asar Raza on Saturday informed a fast-moving truck hit an auto-rickshaw near Kashmore.
As a result, three people of a family killed on the spot, while four other people sustained severe injuries. He said the people were hailing from Ghotki district.
The deceased were identified as Fazl-ur-Rehman Sheikh, Baghan, Raza Muhammad and Zahra. The injured people include Maryam, Zaffar and Ayaz.
Soon after the accident rescue worker and police reached the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to a local hospital in Kashmore for autopsies and treatment respectively.
