French President Emmanuel Macron has asserted that the leaders of Group of Seven (G7) countries will hold an extraordinary summit by video-conference on Monday over coronavirus outbreak.
French President took to Twitter and announced the extraordinary summit. He said, “Following my call with United States President Donald Trump and all G7 leaders, we agreed to organize an extraordinary Leaders Summit by videoconference on Monday on Covid-19.”
He further said, “We will coordinate research efforts on a vaccine and treatments, and work on an economic and financial responsibility.”

The announcement of G7 meeting came after World Health Organization announced Europe the new centre of COVID-19.
The G7 countries – United Nations, Canada, France, Germany, Britain, Italy, and Japan – will seek to harmonise action against virus in spheres of health economy, finance and research.
The coronavirus has claimed more than 5,000 lives globally and has spread to almost 110 countries.
