UMERKOT: A 17-year-old girl Aisha was injured as two groups clashed near here Kunri town.
According to details, in Makrani Para of Kunri town, intermittent firing between two groups continued on Friday.
The previous day, the head of Munawar Baloch group was injured in the firing and shifted to Hyderabad after receiving first aid from Tehsil Hospital.
On Friday, Aisha, a 17-year-old girl of the other group was injured with a gunshot wound in the neck. After the first-aid at a local hospital, she was shifted to Hyderabad.
Earlier, in January, At least five people were killed over an old enmity due to property dispute in Safdarabad, area of Sheikhupura.
According to details, two groups of people had exchanged fire over the property dispute in Safdarabad areas. As a result, five people were killed on the spot.
Sources said the Ishtiaq group and Bagga group were engaged in an old enmity over a property dispute. It further said five people of the Ishtiaq group were on their way to Faisalabad to appear before the court when some unidentified armed masked men riding on a motorcycle opened indiscriminate firing at their car.
Soon after the incident police reached the scene and shifted the bodies into DHQ hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police told the Ishtiaq group had killed the father and son of the Shafi group and now the rival group gunned down five people in order to take revenge.
