FAISALABAD: At least three members of a family were killed and three others severely injured in a road mishap in the Samundri area of the Faisalabad.
According to police sources, a fast-moving car collided with another vehicle on the motorway in the Samundri area. As a result, a man and his two minor children were killed while his wife and two other children sustained serious injuries.
After being informed police and rescue workers reached the spot and shift the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital.
On 15 February 16 people, including women and children, had been killed while 30 other people injured when a bus carrying wedding guests skidded off the road near Jhal Magsi district.
According to details, the luckless bus was on its way to Shikarpur from Khuzdar. The bus overturned when it reached the Bareecha area, killing 16 passengers and injured others.
According to rescue sources, the injured had been shifted to Civil Hospital Jhal Magsi for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had expressed grief over the loss of lives in the Jhal Magsi accident and ordered action against responsible.
