KARACHI: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations across Sindh province re-opened on Sunday morning after 168 hours gap.
According to the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) notification, gas supply at CNG stations has been opened for 12 hours. It will close at 7 pm tonight.
The further schedule of the CNG station opening will be announced later by keeping the gas pressure in view. Gaps between CNG supplies in Sindh province have been increasing each time and many consumers suffered due to the attitude of SSGC.
The sources informed the gas pressure is low from the several gas stations and they are facing problems in providing gas to the domestic consumers too.
While, CNG is usually used in public transportation and the longer the gaps between supply, the more difficult it is for transporters. Domestic consumers have also suffered due to gas shortages.
