KARACHI: A one and half-year-old child was abducted under mysterious circumstances from Karachi’s Jahangir Park located in Saddar.
Police sources said a man Amir, resident of Ranchore line, came in Jahangir Park along with his one and a half-year-old son, Suddas for entertainment. However, during their stay in the park his son suddenly disappeared.
Amir searched his son in the whole park and outskirts but could not find and approached to police. On the complaint, police registered a case in Paraidi police station.
Police said CCTV footage of the park showed three persons including a male, a female and a boy taking the child along with them. Police added that the search for the recovery of the child has been started.
Meanwhile, police during different search operations in the metropolis have arrested five suspects. Police said the suspects were involved in different street crimes including drug peddlers and running Shisha restaurants.
Arms and ammunition, along with Shisha equipment have been recovered from their possession.
