KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh in joint operations with city police on Wednesday claimed to have apprehended 15 suspected criminals from different parts of the metropolis.
The paramilitary force and police detained 15 suspects, including extortionists, notorious dacoits, and drug peddlers during their targeted operations.
According to a press release issued by the paramilitary force’s spokesman, intelligence-based raids were conducted in Lyari’s Karli and Baghdadi areas and arrested two extortionists, Ibrahim alias Abou and Sher Ali alias Shira.
Separately, during search operations in Ferozabad, Paposh and Madina Colony areas the law enforcement personnel nabbed nine robbers, Naseebullah, Wahab Khan, Abdullah, Rehmatullah, Hamidullah, Faheem Ahmed, Rashid and Akbar Shoaib.
The rang and police conducted raids in Jackson, and Ferozabad and apprehended four drug peddlers, Amanullah Khan, Asif Khan, Sadam Hussain and Syed Qurban Ali. The law enforcement authority claimed to have recovered weapons, looted items and drugs from the possession of the accused.
