KARACHI: Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kaleem Imam has claimed that overall crime rate in Sindh has been decreased by 7 percent.
Chairing a meeting of high-level police officials for examine the law and order situation in Sindh, IGP Kaleem Imam has expressed that due to peaceful environment of Sindh and Karachi, foreign delegates and tourist from all over the world are visiting the province.
During the meeting, an additional IG Operations briefed IGP Kaleem Imam on overall crime rate, pointing out that rise of 54 percent in arrest of proclaimed offenders has been observed.
IGP Sindh concluded that justice should be provided to the people and confidence of the publice should be boosted for better image of police.
