LAHORE: Former Indian cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has confirmed his attendance at the inaugural ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor.
Reportedly, Navjot Singh Sidhu communicated to Senator Faisal Javed and confirmed his participation at the inaugural ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor on 9th November.

Sidhu said, “I am thankful to the government of Pakistan and especially Prime Minister Imran Khan for inviting me. I am really looking forward to the event.”
Senator Faisal Javed said, “We are ready to welcome and host Navjot Sidhu and other fellows of Sikh community from around the world.”

Sidhu on 31st October received an invitation for the Kartarpur Corridor opening ceremony from Imran Khan. He was awaiting permission from India’s External Ministry to visit Kartarpur.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will formally inaugurate the Kartapur corridor on 9th November.
100,000 Sikh pilgrims across the world, including India, will reach Pakistan to attend the birth anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak.
