LAHORE: Veteran writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is to cast Actor Shamoom Abbasi in his upcoming comedy movie on Indian pilot Abhinandan, titled as “Abhinandan Come On”.
The announcement comes just days after Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi said that he would produce a movie named ‘Balakot’ on 26th February. Pakistan too has announced a film but genre of the movie will be comedy.

Actor Shamoon Abbasi has been roped in to play the role of Abhinandan Varthaman, the IAF pilot who was captured and then set free by Prime Minister Imran Khan as a good will gesture, when an Indian plane crashed in Pakistan following escalating tensions in the aftermath of the Pulwama attack in February.
Shamoon Abbasi confirmed the role by stating that what is to come will be a surprise for his fans and the Pakistani audience.
Director Khalil ur Rehman Qamar has written the movie “Abhinandan Come On”, it will be released on 27th February 2020 which is the same date on which the Indian pilot of was captured.
Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman’s MiG-21 jet was shot down by a Pakistani fighter jet during a clash over Kashmir.
