It is disturbing to see the current government going against its own population which is based on different ethnic units, especially when Imran Khan could not have become prime minister without their support in the past.

Her claims that the people who fought for Imran Khan were from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are not only divisive but also untrue. Such statements only serve to further polarize an already divided society.
By repeating claims of ‘petrol bombs used by PTI workers, it is clear that the current government is trying to portray Imran Khan as a terrorist and equate his demands for free and fair elections with acts of violence. This is a dangerous narrative that threatens to undermine the democratic process and erode the people’s trust in their elected representatives.
The actions of the police in conducting the operation against Imran Khan go against the orders of Lahore High Court as it had not only stopped the Police operation at Zaman Park but had envisaged a committee to sort out the matter amicably. This is a blatant disregard for the rule of law and highlights the need for a renewed commitment to upholding the principles of justice and fairness in Pakistan.
It is time for the lawlessness in Pakistan to come to an end. National institutions must abide by the law and ensure that the rights of the people are protected. The police are meant to be a force for good, to serve and protect the people, not to act as a tool for political agendas.
Pakistan must remain committed to democracy and the rule of law, and the actions of the government and its institutions must reflect this commitment. It is only through a steadfast commitment to justice and fairness that Pakistan can truly progress and flourish as a nation.
