LONDON: The personal staff of Queen Elizabeth has been barred from visiting their families during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Queen and her husband Prince Philip have retreated into self-isolation for protection from the coronavirus as its cases are increasing in the United Kingdom.
A source revealed that many staff members are unable to visit their family members just to keep the Queen and Prince Philip safe from the coronavirus.
The personal staff of Queen Elizabeth has could not visit their families as a precautionary measure. The Queen herself is also following a number of strict guidelines to make sure she remains safe during times of ongoing crisis.
Moreover, The Queen did not celebrate her 94th birthday that was held this month in any special way due to coronavirus pandemic.
Britain is in its fifth week of a national lockdown, with businesses forced to close and citizens ordered to stay at home. So far, coronavirus has claimed lives of more than 20,732 across the United Kingdom and has affected more than 152,840 people.
