A high-level U.S. investment delegation, led by Texas hedge fund manager and close business associate of the Trump family, Gentry Beach, has arrived in Pakistan for a two-day visit.
This visit holds considerable importance as it marks the first official U.S. delegation to Pakistan since the new U.S. government took office. The delegation’s visit is expected to pave the way for enhanced investment opportunities and strengthened economic and bilateral ties between the two nations.
According to reports from Samma News, several investment agreements have already been signed during the visit, underscoring the potential for collaboration in various sectors. The presence of Gentry Beach, a key figure in President Donald Trump’s previous election campaigns, is being hailed as a major diplomatic achievement for Pakistan.
Gentry Beach, known for his close ties to the Trump family, has previously acknowledged Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war against terrorism. During the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast at Mar-a-Lago, attended by prominent Trump aides, donors, and supporters, Beach expressed his admiration for Pakistan’s resilience and pro-family values.
In a video statement, he remarked, “This past week, I had the privilege of visiting an amazing country, Pakistan—a place I had never been before. It’s a very pro-Trump and pro-family environment where people focus on raising their kids and being good citizens. These people have sacrificed so much for America, standing on the front lines in that part of the world. They’ve lost tens of thousands of people to terrorism, much like Israel, and all they seek is peace.”
