Benefits
Recipients of the Erasmus Mundus GLOCAL Scholarship will receive:
- Full tuition coverage, including any required deposit (tuition fees are partially covered by the GLOCAL consortium; scholarship recipients pay nothing)
- Full insurance coverage for the duration of the program
- Optional contribution to travel and installation costs, including visas, residence permits, and temporary accommodation
- Monthly living allowance for the entire EMJM study period
Scholarship Payment Options
After acceptance, scholarship recipients can choose how to receive their funding:
Option 1: Advance Travel & Installation Payments
Three €1000 advance payments to support travel, visa, and installation costs:
- €1000 in August before the first semester
- €1000 in May 2026 (end of Year 1)
- €1000 in September 2026 (start of Year 2)
- Remaining monthly allowance: €1275 per month over the 2-year program
Option 2: Standard Monthly Payment
€1400 per month for the full two years, without separate travel/installation advances
Eligibility & Application
To apply for the Erasmus Mundus GLOCAL Scholarship:
- You must hold a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Glasgow.
- Submit all required documents by 15 January 2026, 13:00 (UK time). Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Applicants must not have previously received an EMJM scholarship.
