KARACHI: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday announced arresting the prime suspect involved in the assassination of Chinese nationals in Saddar a few days back.
Officials said the prime suspect, identified as Waqar Khushak and affiliated with SRA, was apprehended as a result of a detailed investigation by the CTD.
It may be recalled here that four Chinese nationals, living for decades in Karachi and running a dental clinic, were targeted in an attack in the last week of September.

Officials said the CTD team conducted a detailed examination of fingerprints coupled with body size identification process from the site of the incident and CCTV footage after which the member of the banned outfit SRA, Waqar Khushak, was apprehended.
The CTD said that the motorbike, used in the attack, had been recovered from the prime suspect. Moreover, they have identified a few accomplices of Waqar Khusak, for which raiding parties had already been constituted.
