PHNOM PENH: Security ousted the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijay Joly from the Asia Pacific Summit 2019 after he angrily tried to interrupt the speech of National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri.
According to details, Vijay Joly angrily tried to stop Qasim Suri from speaking about the human rights situation in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).

Joly was seen pointing and shouting at the summit’s participants in a video, sitting in the front row when security guards came and took him outside the hall. Suri continued to speak despite the commotion.

Qasim Suri in the summit raised the Kashmir issue during his speech. Vijay Jolly tried to stop him and erupted disturbance during the event. The security staff expelled the Indian leader from the hall.

The deputy speaker, in his speech, said, “I want to direct your attention towards the human rights violations in IoK. Almost 100,000 Kashmiris have been martyred and thousands are missing.

He added, “More than 11,000 women have been raped. More than 8,000 unmarked graves have been found of people affected by Indian atrocities.”
