RAWALPINDI: An influential man tortured and stripped a labourer for demanding payment, according to the victim.
The victim, named Rana Taimoor Ali, informed that the influential man allegedly abused, thrashed and forcibly took off his clothes and recorded the abuse on video.
According to the victim, he did sealing work at the accused, named Raja Zeeshan’s, house in Sector B17 Multi Garden Islamabad. The accused allegedly transferred the victim’s family photos to his laptop and threatening Rana Taimoor to post it on social media.
Rana Taimoor Ali claimed that that the payment for the work he did was fixed at Rs. 4 lakh. “Raja Zeeshan gave me Rs. 3 lakhs and promised to give Rs. 1 lakh later,” he added.
In this regard, the victim filed an application against Raja Zeeshan at Tarnol police station for the recovery of the remaining payment. Rana Taimoor informed that the next day when he went to collect the payment, the accused along with his accomplices thrashed him.
The victim further informed that the police have not yet registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused yet.
